Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Adverlify LLC ("Adverlify", "we", "us") handles personal data when you visit adverlify.com, use our dashboard, or play a game we host.

Two kinds of data, two roles

• Account data. When you sign up and use Adverlify, we decide how your data is used. For this data we are the controller.
• Player data. When someone plays a game, the brand running it (our customer) may ask for their name, email, phone number or other details, and the game records their score. The brand is the controller of that data. We process it on the brand's behalf and only on their instructions. Players should read the brand's own privacy notice and contact the brand about their data. We will help the brand answer.

What we collect

• Account details: your name, email address and a securely hashed password.
• Brand material: the website address you give us, what we read from that public website (name, logo, colours, copy), and the images and text you upload.
• Usage: the games you create and publish, and play counts.
• Technical data: IP address, browser and device information, used for security, rate limiting and troubleshooting.
• Billing: when paid plans are billed, our payment processor handles card details. We never store full card numbers.
• Player data (on behalf of customers): the form fields the brand chose, scores, and whether a play started and finished.

How we use it

• To run the service: build, host and show your games, and deliver leads and scores to your dashboard.
• To read your brand from the public website you point us to.
• To send account emails, such as verification and password resets.
• To keep the service secure and prevent abuse.
• To answer you when you contact us.
• To improve the product using aggregated, non-identifying statistics.

We do not sell personal data, and we do not use advertising trackers on our site.

Service providers

We use a small number of providers who process data only to provide their services to us:

• Cloudflare: hosting, file storage and the AI processing used to read brand details.
• Neon: database hosting.
• Resend: account emails.
• A payment processor, when paid plans are billed.

Cookies and local storage

We use cookies only to keep you signed in. Games may save a player's name and best score in the player's own browser so they don't have to type it again. We use no analytics or advertising cookies.

How long we keep data

• Account data: while your account is open, and up to 90 days after you close it (backups).
• Player data: until the brand deletes it or closes their account.
• Technical logs: a short period, for security.

Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR, UK GDPR or California law) you can ask to access, correct, delete or export your data, or object to how it is used. Email us and we will respond within 30 days. Players should contact the brand first; if you contact us, we will pass the request on.

International transfers

Our providers operate worldwide, so data may be processed in the United States and other countries. Where the law requires it, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.

Children

Adverlify is not meant for children under 13 (under 16 in the EEA and UK). Customers must not use lead forms to collect data from children.

Security

Data is encrypted in transit, and access to production systems is limited to the people who need it.

Changes

When we change this policy we update the date above. For significant changes we also email account holders.
